You can choose mountain treks of different difficulty levels, go cycling, or take an exciting trip down the mountain river (go rafting), to take a ride down the approximately 2 km long summer toboggan, or take various excursions to the near or more distant castles, museums and country parks. • The capital of the Austrian federal land Carinthia – Klagenfurt is located at a distance of less than an hour’s jorney from Metnitz, but Vienna, Salzburg, Venice, as well as spas of Croatia, are at a distance of a few hours.
